IckieBob Crane

Well, it’s just about Thanksgiving and I had to bring in the serious equipment. You guessed it, its crane time. I even had them paint it red to go with our school colors. Now I can be just like IckieBob Crane when I start to put the field house panels (walls) in place. The north panels are 10 feet wide by 40 foot tall and the south ones are 10 feet wide by 36 foot tall. That little turkey Dave thought he was cool installing concrete slab decks with his two small yellow cranes … maybe, just to mess with him; I’ll pickup one of his cranes and set it up on the High School roof. That will make him scratch his head. Seems like he does that a lot … I don’t know if they call that hair or fuzz on the top of his head. Anyways, look for me, IckieBob Crane, December 1st when I start putting my crane in action.

... IckieBob

O.k. smarty pants … excuse me, you don’t wear pants. So IckieBob … hate to burst your bubble, but it’s Ichabod Crane and he had nothing to do with cranes. He was a superstitious schoolmaster who had the hots for Katrina and got chased off by a headless horseman. And no, it wasn’t Katrina from ‘Katrina and the Waves’ 80’s band ! Although, you got a couple of things right … the panels will start going up December 1st and IckieBob is a good name for you … remind me not to walk behind you anymore … what did you eat ?, some bad chicken or was it turkey !?!

... nothing but a HOUND DOG

Well, I got into the girls doll closet and came up with a new outfit … Thank you, thank you very much! I put these clothes on and all of a sudden my hips began to shake and I had this strong desire to put valvoline in my hair and comb it back then scrunch it forward in front. I then had this idea to pick up a guitar and swing it around but not really play it. I jumped up on the counter top and started to practice my act for when the new auditorium opens up. Maybe I’ll do a tropical island theme or something that has to do with the Army, since the auditorium is close to the old Army Reserve location. I definitely like this collar on this outfit better than my dog collar. By the looks of it, I better get busy and practice, that auditorium will be ready in no time. Just keep Dave busy and out of my hair … don’t be messing with the hair. I think I’ll even start my own blog page … ya, that’s what I’ll do. In the future … look for Elvis to return to the building ! Yours truly ~ Hound Dog Bob.

... to my buddy HOUND DOG

Sorry it took me so long to post this update, but I’ve been rolling on the floor – laughing , holding my gut, spinning around like Angus from AC/DC when he plays his guitar after reading Bob’s, I mean Hound Dog’s blog. You’re quite the dude there Hound Dog … you little hip shaker you. Tell you what though, I’m holding you to your word about performing on the stage of the new auditorium … see you in August 2009’ Hound Dog boy. I think you need to loose some weight before then though, or you’re not going to be able to fit into your fancy outfit. And you, starting your own blog … you forgot to tell the people that the reason there is a second blog is because you filled the first one up with all your photos and your own little blogs. Then to top it off, they wouldn’t let you post items right a way, because they were afraid you were a spammer. What’s up with that ? I like spam mixed in my mac and cheese but, I’ve never known you to eat spam. You can’t even open up the can, you just push it around the floor with your nose. Which reminds me, I found one of those cans on the floor when I was down there laughing.

What a difference 3 weeks make. I’ve, Bob’s posted thirty-eight photos on his new site to show the progress. Just about all the ground work has been completed now and things seem like they’re popping out of the ground. On December 1st, the tip up walls will start going up for the field house.
